We needed this to happen at some point, clear up any complacency and feeling that we always pull it back in the 2nd half. Dispell the myths we(players etc) have set themselves.

It wasn't against a contender and were still ahead. Points are better than games in hand, otherwise we'd already be in the championship.

The title may be misleading, I would've preferred 3 points. But this needed to happen at some point, the sooner the better, we just don't need another 3 points off 33 run from Powell. Back to business now

It's not great losing any game but we all know that Charlton were going to lose at some point in the season. One point i would like to make is Chris Powell has made changes in the last two games and the performances have been very below par, maybe in the next game he goes back to the unbeaten 11 prior to the last 2 games. We are still top of the league and it is still a very good start to the season and i agree with Hell we don't need a run like last season or the boo boys were appear again.

Underlying problem though we are just playing rubbish.
    Simples.
Puzzling selection / subs from Powell today. Not good
So very very glad we are still top.
    I am though fearful.
After all Stevenage had lost 5 on the spin so clearly someone can handle them.
    B- must do better

Paul Hayes has been an integral part of our good start to the season, so I hope he is restored to the first team ASAP. Without his link-up play our passing game just doesn't seem to work.

Let's be honest. One defeat in after 8 wins and 4 draws is an excellent start. It was going to happen at some point. I expect very few of us are surprised it came against a side such as Stevenage. Interesting to see Preston losing at Walsall and MK DOns getting a late draw at home to Bournemouth. Shows that these types of results happen to other 'quality' teams. This league will throw up odd results and nobody is entitled to win any game on the quality of their squad alone.
Powell has mixed it up in the last few games. There will be arguments that he should have not changed a team that had not lost but had he kept the same team and the results were similar to last week's and today's then we'd be saying he should have freshened things up a bit.
This squad is more than capable of putting th result behind them and moving on, stating next week at home to Carlisle.

i think what we're seeing is CP trying to use the squad. at the beginning of the season green, alonso and evina wouldve been starters from the off. i think he's still trying to go to that team and forgetting who's got us to the top. i think he should go back to the team we've been winning with and then bring these guys in when we're winning.

dropping solly was the worst mistake though. he's been the only steady 7/10 every game. he must be gutted. waggy too after how green played last week.

have to wait a week now to correct it.

    Words fail me;-

We were absolute rubbish, and l repeat my words of last week

'BWP (in particular) and others should donate their salary to a nominated charity' It is an insult to hard working individuals in the 'normal' thread of life for these so called professionals to be paid this week on todays' performance..!!

Im never going to say I'm glad we lost. The team needs a kick up the bum- which I hope this gives. Some look complacent, some of it is bad luck.. What I know is- we've been fairly poor and could start to undo our fine start.

I'm happy over the 13 games, but the last 3 does show that some work needs doing. I don't blame kermo, but the teams approach to him compared to Hayes is there for all to see. BWP and Hayes to start.

Yup usual tactics which again the Ref fell for - another 6mins of added time at the end

I cant quite believe how a player can go down pole-axed be tended to by the physio for a few mins then get up and run off the pitch as though nothing had happened.

Once again though are people happy that we changed the Squad around?? Once again we fail to pick up three points dont you think this is coincidence as Danny Green had a shocker again...

Why Solly was left on the bench was beyond me especially for a player who'd only got back from halfway round the world on Thursday and I definitely cant understand why Cort was played in the Centre rather than Morrison

done the same at our place last season ,kicked lumps out of our two central midfielders who went off injured but when one of theirs got fairly tackled he was down supposedly injured for ages then made a miraculous recovery and played the rest of the game.its about time the fa and the refs got a grip with them and sorted it out .

Trouble is Rocky as well they dont try and do it on the sly they're pretty blatant about it.

i.e. towards the end of the game the Manager handed his player a piece of player who stood there reading it, walked a short distance gave it to another player who read it who then walked across the pitch to give it to someone else.

Am pretty sure it wasnt Westley confirming the players lottery numbers - I always thought the Manager couldnt communicate like that whilst the match is going on or whats the point of the 15min half-time break

excactly what they did at our place, they know all the tricks in the book.i may be an old moaner but thats not how i like to see football played.if my team lose to a better team on the day then fair enough i will hold my hands up and congratulate them on their win but with their manager and tactics i would never do that to stevenage.

That stevenage match made me lose all respect for that scumbag Mousinho. A fairly decent player for us (Wycombe), he contrived to injure Stuart Lewis all match and succeeded with a shocking 2 footed lunge, which wasn't penalised with a card. Like everyone else on here says, I hope the FA figure them out and come down hard on them, as it seems like they can get away with it against everyone at the moment.

Left Morthumberland at 7am this morning to get to Stevenage. I now wish I had stayed up there for another day and took in a match at Blyth Spartans.

Solly: our best player this season - left on the bench! What the ****?

Green: absolute rubbish. Overrated. Not half the player Waggy is.

Kermit: his heading is on a different wavelength to those around him - except for the opposition!

Powell's substitutions: confusing and ultimately fruitless.

A very bad day at the office.

    A rapidly improving Carlisle next...
