First off lets me say its great to be back on not 606 after about 7 months away!

However my joy at being back is contradicted by my fury at the Gills at the moment.

Frankly, 4-3 is not a acceptable result. The defense is poor and will be the downfall of our season if it is not sorted out.

Lawrence- good in his day but past it now, could be a solid sub but is far too slow to play alongside Framps

Richards- played quite well recently but yet again has no pace, always prone to an error or two in a match that we can ill afford to happen.

King- great player but is not ever going to be a full gills player ever again, a shame but we need to face facts.

Fish- has failed to make the step up and i sincerely doubt he ever will.

Martin- good player but has lacked form recently.

Fuller-long term absence and fear that when he returns it will just be like Simon King all over again.

Lee- not a defender and we have to stop using him in the defense because he is wasted there.

Flitney- okay but in my opinion no better than cronin and julian, and we all know how bad they were, should of signed Jake Cole when we had the chance but we move on!

Hessy, please sort it out, the defense is getting us down and we need to strengthen. Some loans from West Ham courtesy of Hendon? Mr. Scally has shown great commitment by giving Hess all this money but he needs to give Hess a little more to get the squad sorted.

On the bright side, Kuffour is a great signing and Tomlin has proved his goalscoring critics wrong already by scoring two on debut!

Personally, Hessy needs to walk away at the end of the season. Not now. We couldn't get a decent manager in at this stage of the season without the cash to spend on his own players. We need a older, experienced manger like the one Bristol Rovers have just appointed. Not a exciting choice my any means but can get the job done!

Its good to be back but I fear for our season!
