And somehow took full ownership of the club, would rvp sign a new contract ?

Its a key question because he did not agree with wenger and gazidis' future vision for the club. A good guess would be that he has looked at all the success around him and feels that money, big investment in players is the way forward. What if we were actually able to fulfill that, would he stick by us or does he just need a change of scene?

My first article on here since leaving ja606, site looks a bit un-organised but should get used to it.

We've signed 2 (OK, one and a half) big names this summer, he's still leaving. Does't matter who we bring in, we could sign Messi and he'd still probably leave.

If Usmanov was involved with the board, which he rightfully should be (It's absurd that a man with such a huge stake in the club doesn't have a say in anything), then he would provide the money that is needed for us to compete. Make of that what you will, but I think it's a fairly obvious answer.

Very few footballers care about the clubs that pay their wages, they make unreasonable wage demands and sometimes unrealistic demands for investment, to be fair if he wants to play with nothing but the best money can buy then he has 2 options, Chelsea and City.
Players are dispensable and can very easily go from plavour of the month to outcasts, anyone signing for them shoudl be prepared for this
