I’d take the captaincy off Lascelles now… give it to Trippier and make Huskinson vice captain. I’d then leave Lascelles out of the final 25 squad. His hapless performances must be hammering morale around him. I’d also try my best to never play S Longstaff again this season. The middle of the team across defence and midfield is why we are where we are. I’d blood some of the kids I think to prepare them for the Championship.
He will keep playing Lascelles and Shelvey and Fraser because he is weak. He won’t make a strong decision because he’s not a good manager. He has a bad squad no doubt but apart from Joe everyone else has gone backwards. He’s lost the dressing room. The Cambridge game proved that. When the players went don’t they tunnel he should have told them to get back out.

Howe did they get it so wrong. He might just go down as our worst manager in our history because I can’t see us winning a game under him. He’s won 1 in 10 I think. So our next 10 games how many does he win?
Howe must be feeling the pressure now. He and his buddies must know their time associated with us is becoming unsafe. Whether they'll take advice from outside their bubble is perhaps the decision that will save their jobs.
