a sticky thread for each team that only moderaters can edit / post on, with the done and dusted only transfers in / transfers out. so many threads with rumours / signings / if you havent logged on all day its alot to go through and yea can go elsewhere for info but just thought it was a nice idea

We didn't vote, we just decided to cut them down, but we said we'd still do them if justified and if people wanted them.
Excellent idea if this is the only site you ever visit. If not try Newsnow or safc.com (Many other club sites are available).
It was mentioned a while back, and it seemed like a no-go, as you would have pages upon pages of rumours etc, and things would be lost in the middle somewhere. People like to do their own threads, fills the board up more. Rather than having one massive thread that no-one reads except the first and last few posts.
yea i dont mean individual threads, just the one that would be moderator only and edited whenever a signing was done. Basically i'm living in Australia so alot of the good stuff happens when i'm kipping lol. This is always one of my first points of call in the morning so would be awesome to have a place to go to check if anything is signed sealed and delivered before i start diving into the main mix of threads again, no probs if it doesnt get done, still a great site, many thanks for running it.
Could be done easily enough, but if we keep it to confirmed information..as you say, dealings in/out. that has been confirmed...i'e headline news.
We did voice it at the opeing of the window but the feeling was a big no, everyone wanted to do their own thing. I try and merge threads on the same rumour to cut down the numbers and still feel a confirmation thread would be good. People would still post rumours and could even post confirmations but we could simply move them into the confirmed thread for people like soul to find.
speaking of which, will we have a Summer Transfer Deadline Thread? I did the January one with your help, but considering we've already brought in 9, doubt there will be much excitement on the day!
Everybody sleeps at sometime or another, I work shiftwork, 3 shifts, but still manage to read EVERY POST, try to comment on as many as possible, the folk who have posted deserve some imput from their peers, but I dont get you, you live in Aussie, wheres the problem there? I lived in Melbourne for three years, my daughters still there, and we manage the news fine. there are dozens of sites that opperate 24/7, no matter what shift Im on I can find something, a lot of my posts are found when most folks in uk are asleep, so I dont see where you are coming from on this one, personally I dont like sticky threads, I dont read them, for me they just clog up the board, much prefer the individual threads, the title, and most especially , the contributer,
thanks for your input bill, i'll just go and have a word with myself eh? not everyone has the time to read every post on the board, and like i said earlier i know i can find the information elsewhere but this is one of my home pages, is involved with SAFC, has people interested in transfer news, didnt think it would be that bad an idea, clearly your opinion is different and those people should bugger off because you dont like stickies, fair one.
Yesterday noon till midnight, rest of this week, 14 00 till midnight. short staffed ,Cloggies are starting the vacation/ migration season, most take as much as six weeks off, so its up to the Brits to keep production going, no worries, just a long three months is all. now shower and off to work.
I enjoy reading the differing opinions, rumours etc and can usually sort the wheat from the chaff for myself. So I would say no to this idea.
