http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...losses-200m-Moroccan-villa-project-fails.html Makes you want to cry. Some days are **** days, and then you read this. Life aint so bad after all
In some cases, yes, but I find it difficult to feel sympathy for people earning tens of thousands each week whilst many people who earn less in a year are losing their jobs through no fault of their own against a backdrop of ever-rising living costs and ever-diminishing support.
I'm couldn't give a ****e about the footballers and the people that it makes no difference to, it's the folk who are fecked by these events; that's all. If it had just been about John Terry then it would have been funny
They don't sound like they did due diligence before investing however. One guy is quoted as saying ' At first, everything was fine – we were given flashy promotional material about footballers investing and we thought if they were part of it, it must be a good idea.' Anyone who bases large investment decisions on the judgement of a premier league footballer who they have never met or spoken too is not sensible.
If you base investing your money on what John Terry thinks is a good deal you probably deserve to lose your money. Not exactly got a track record of being a good, trustworthy character has he?
Looking at the brochure, it's nice to see that investing money to make a few bob has softened the blow of the fallout betwen Terry and the Ferdinands. Perhaps they mugged Ashley Cole over it.
Anyone that has enough money to sink into things like this or second homes in this country I couldnt give a **** about, feck em all
