I was just talking to a mate who is a palace fan, and he told me it seems that they have scrapped their 'goal music'. Needless to say, he is delighted. There are still numerous clubs which play goal music, clubs like Burnley, forest, rochdale, norwich, etc etc. But why? Nothing replicates the sound made by thousands of happy celebrating english fans. If they ever introduced goal music at the valley, i would burn the stadium down Edit: What the hell is he talking about, you can clearly hear goal music in the bbc clips
Damn right mate, it's americanism taking hold. They'll be sounding hooters next and having cheerleaders (although I wouldn't mind that so much)
Nor would I if they all looked like the redhead with the abs at Dagenham and Redbridge last season - the only bright spot in a ghastly afternoon.
What happened to my post? If you click on the blue words, you go through to a Norwegian discount clothes website... Any techies out there with an explanation? I'm lost.
I can honestly say I will NEVER play goal music, it's tacky and American! Let the crowd make the noise!
