If you sold certain players, then maybe my view would soften slightly. But as long as you keep ****s like Shawcross around, then no, i'll still hate you, even when your idiot manager ****s off.

Probably. Unless you appoint someone like Fat Sam, then your style of play would change, or let's just say won't be as hideous as it currently is under the management of Pulis.

I wouldn't expect the ethos of a club like Stoke to change, even without Pulis. I don't mind them in their current style. I mean there are harding working, less technical, route 1 sides scattered around English divisions and we don't want that to change. How boring would it be if everyone played the same style of football, i.e. like Arsenal or Manchester United. What needs to take place, is less emphasis on the rough, thuggish behaviour which characterises some English clubs and is passed off as tough tackling. You can have the rough and tumble of football without maiming the opposition but managers like Pulis and players like Callum McManaman don't understand this. So to answer your question, no, my view of Stoke would not change if they got rid of their current manager and crop of thugs, it may take many years for that notion of their club to be dispelled. I hope for their sake though, that they don't try and adapt a style of footie which is different and destroys the good work that they HAVE done to stay in PL. It's an achievement for which they can be proud and to try and change it would be disastrous. My 2c.

My view on Stoke will change when their style of play changes. That style is down to the Manager so yes, if Pullis goes I imagine my view would change a lot :)

Good luck with getting rid of him. He seems the king of broken promises from what I've heard Stoke fans saying.

I don't have too much of a problem with stoke bar the whole ramsey incident, when you first got into the league, you did what was effective to keep you in the EPL, for a small club that had been out of the top flight for such a long time, it was well worth it, some clubs have come up, played good football and gone straight back down never to be seen again. The problem was after the first few season pullis should have tried to evolve slowly, and move away from the hoofball and try and play a bit more football.

My problem with Stoke isn't so much the style of play under Pulis it's simply that they don't go out to win football matches (especially away from home) and just "stifle" the opposition. Against the top teams this approach is understandable but against Reading, West Ham?? I hate teams that stay up purely on home form. I don't think West Ham's style of football is any better than Stoke's but they at least try to win and place greater emphasis on their own strengths.

The sad thing is, Pulis has tainted the image of the football club and now teams have worked out how to play Stoke at home, you may find yourselves relegated next season whilst the media continue to lap it up and **** off Pulis

Don't forget they won the Championship play off last season. It's such a shame that Arsenal have never been in the position to win that trophy <whistle>

3 league titles and 2 FA cups, that's what our "tippy tappy" football won us. Not recently but still.

Respect is hard to earn but easy to lose. Stoke have lost all respect from most fans of other PL clubs and it will take a long time to earn it again.

You mean that as long as you win and can get away with it, you don't see anything wrong with breaking any number of legs and potentially ending player's careers? This is fundementally where respect is earned. The Stoke fans, the manager and the players will not get any respect when their fundemental philosopy is, "As long as we can get away with it, no problem in trying it."

It is comforting to see that at least some fans are beginning to see Pulis for the dinosaur that he is. I think if some of the similarly pre-historic fans manage to realize that most other football fans, even neutrals, prefer to go to a game to see top players and not a virtual second team, because the top players have all ben injured, then these dark ages of Stoke will be quickly forgotten.

If I go to see an Arsenal v Spurs game, I want to beat them with Bale playing, and be entertained by the contest, win or lose. I don't want to see him injured by poor play and knocked out of the game unfairly. If that is tippy-tappy football then so be it.

United Chelsea and lately City don't compalin about the rough stuff at the likes of Stoke; they just just get on with it, and usually come away with the points. Fair polay to any team that plays to its strengths, and present other teams with different challenges.

What worries me, about our game is that it tends to teams liek Stoke where the English lads rejected ny the big clubs end up, and they have the footballing skills knocked out of them in favour of the up and at em style.

I'm all for variety, and games against SToke are not boring ... for Arsenal fans they are usually tense, and have that bit of needle that adds spice. Love that. It's just why are all teams with a largely ENglish player base playing this style? I know that the youth system at United encourages kids to play football the proper way, but when these kids don't make teh grade at United, unless they are big lumps they really struggle to find another club.

I found it depressing watching the Leeds v Derby game when I realised that if it wasn't for the foreigners in the EPL the palyers on show yesterday would be plying their trade in EPL.

We need to fpcus on producing and nurturing English talent.
