I said yesterday if we didn't win then we would be relegated and still think the same. We just don't have enough quality throughout the squad, only real quality we have had on a consist basis this season has been only Mahrez and Cambiasso. Everyone else has been inconsistent or never got going
Its a champ´ship team playing in the prem´ship. Can´t fault them for trying though. Now it´ll be "what do we do about NP ?" & "Can we keep most of our top players ?"
For me we back Pearson and try to keep most of the squad together Cambiasso, Hammond and Knockaert's contracts all run out so we have some work to do if we can do it there Of the rest of the squad I think there will be interest in Kramaric, Ulloa, Mahrez, Schlupp and Schmeichel Apart from that I think we are in a very good position to keep everyone else aslong as we want to keep them. We won't need major work at all and if we do come back up we will have learnt a lot of lessons from this season,
I believe....... we are going down. I think there will be a major shake up of the squad. Clearly a team good enough to go up is not good enough to stay in the premiership, Burnley and QPR back this up. So whoever plays and hopefully gets us a quick return may not necessarily be the same team that plays the following season. I don't see many of our squad improving enough to be premiership quality in two seasons time if they are not good enough now.

To be fair, I think even Pearson has been surprised by our survival. Not so much our performances, which have always been strong, but how our we go just rewards in the last eight games but didn't in most of the previous 29!
Doom didnt cover it, It was looking mighty grim, even ed was pessimistic but somehow we've pulled off the most remarkable survival.
Funny enough, Ed seem to lose faith when we were looking good to survive, despite keeping faith through a period where we looked dead certs to go down! I can kind of understand that though. Winning all those games and still being in the mix was a little frustrating.
Yep, I was certain that the only way we could possibly survive was if a LOT of other results went our way and for a long period. Unbelievably, we still managed it as very few went in our favour until yesterday. If we had lost just one of the recent games we won, it would be a very different story!
