Though in fairness it's not a retro hipster type bike. Photobucket changes have made it a pain to post pictures.
I've put together a single speed fixy from a skipped frame and chopped up racing bars. It's good fun watching others think they can just jump on and pedal off, particularly when they lean for a corner or belt down a hill and end up pogoing.
29" on a bmx I know what you mean though. I've got one of the smaller bmx's that I cobbled togther for someone else from bits and bobs, I'm hopeless on it though. I have a 29er for trail riding at the likes of Dalby. I've had a few goes on unicycles, and I'm thinking of hacking the bmx and making one. I got one given a few years back but it had odd length cranks and if one pointed down, the other was nearer to 10 o'clock. That was fun to try to 'ride'. I've ridden some right wierd stuff. Been all over on tandems, a few rides on penny farthings, and a mate has a pedersen, which is 'different' but pedalled round on one of these for a short while too. I'm going to call it a type of hybrid, just to keep on topic. please log in to view this image
My Dad forever the entrepreneur got one of those BMX bikes with the handlebar adaption where you turn the bars one way and the front wheel went the other. He used to go to shows with it and paying punters got a cash prize if they could ride it approx 5 metres. I learnt to ride it in 2 minutes and he was well pissed at watching me ride it around the garden You don't see them now, but I've taken a few quid off places that have these bikes.
I can't remember how it came about, but I remember trying one of those when we were at school. Someone had 'acquired' it, so the challenge was to get round some course or other, while everyone else hurled whatever was at hand in your direction.
My last bike had no suspension and my hands where always numb with vibration after a couple of miles. It was painful at times. The one I have now has suspension and I have no bother.
He's a down right pervert he should have a visit for some authorities. Hard ons and wet panties seem to be his fantasy.
I thought this thread was about gardening when I saw the heading, but apparently it is about patty getting a hard one whilst fantasising about GLP in lycra.
