Out of the country for three weeks and Gills activity goes through the roof.

I admit that I was one of the many who voiced concerns over the lack of perceived activity on the transfer front. It seemed as if everyone was quitting a sinking ship and that there was no salvation on the horizon. I moaned about the lack of comment from the Chairman whos last post was for the Macclesfield home game too.....

However it seems that an enormous rabbit has been pulled out of the hat with some terrific signings.

Well done to Hessy and the Chairman........but please don't keep us biting our fingernails for so long in future.

Having been a Gills fan for many many years, I have to say that the quality and number of signings are unequalled.

Thank you and on with what I believe will be a great season.

With the exception of not being out of the country for three weeks!
I would echo those exact same words.

Maybe we can all get behind the team this season and transform Priestfield back into an intimidating place for visiting teams to come, instead of the morgue it has been for the last few seasons. Instead of jumping on the players backs at every little mistake and making them fearful of their next move and scared of the ball, lets get Priestfield rocking again :1980_boogie_down:

i think ever fan had a right to be worried and annoyed at the percieved lack of activity but kudos to scally and hess for doing what they did and managing to keep it quiet cos in this day and age of media phone tapping etc it must have been very difficult. every fan lets be honest needs a slice of that humble pie cos even the most die hard fan was starting to get very worried and ask a few questions. i'll have some icecream with mine if you dont mind
