http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/london-qpr/2012/07/04/qpr-striker-rules-out-exit-64767-31322812/ Dont think he features in our future plans, but he obviously wants to sit on the bench and pick up the last year of what is probably a bumper contract!
Exactly, it just shows you how bad our signings were. They wont leave no matter what because we vastly overpaid them.
Anyone still clinging to the Neil Warnock 'legend' need look no further than this story to see the man's weakness. He relies on instinct in the transfer market which can sometimes pays off but more typically is a disaster unless coupled with a great deal of research. Result, an over-the-hill, hugely over paid ex-striker who is building a very nice pension at LR.
Yup which is why Im so against the signings of players like johnson, they will be the future Hulse. At least hes only here for 2 year and not 4 like I feared.
The man (Warnock) took us from possible relegation to winning the league. Thats as close to a Legend we have had for a very long time!!
QPR say striker Rob Hulse will be staying at Loftus Road, despite the 32-year-old failing to play a regular part in last season's Premier League campaign. "He wants to be playing more, but there's been no discussions about leaving," said Hulse's agent Matt Buck. "We've not had any talks with the manager or anyone else at the club about moving on." NO But They Might Come Monday
Agreed. AAAGH, you're being very harsh there. No Manager on earth gets all his signings right. Even Sir Alex Ferguson has signed his fair share of Donkeys down the years. Its not an exact Science. I'd say if you could get anywhere near 80% "hits" with the players you bring in then you've done a good job. BTW, welcome back rrrrrs, ain't seen you around for a long time. Good to have you back.
He wont even make the 25. Thats another problem with signing old players, its their last big contract and theres no way to get rid of them. A player like say Ephraim will move on and get his career on track rather than be a waster like Vine, Agyemang, Rowlands, Cook, Hulse
Id say Warnock made a number of great signings for us...a squad which ultimately got us where we are now. Also would have to say that comparing AJ and Hulse is a little silly - different deal, league, manager and quality of player.
