It'd be odd to go straight from playing Ferriby and Winterton to Liverpool. Hull FC are at home twice that week, plus the Feyenoord game. Wouldn't think JC would want another game on the pitch.

If JC had his way, we wouldn't be allowed on the pitch at all.

Liverpool would be a good one, other than Feyenoord and the traditional Nth Ferriby game, they weren't too exciting.

I doubt Winterton will affect anything, we always play the kids there anyway.

Just meant there's normally a level of progression starting with Ferriby and Winterton and getting gradually tougher. To go from those to Liverpool would be unusual.

And we don't normally play the kids at Winterton, last year was the first time. Generally at least half the first team are involved.

Maybe I'm being a bit lateral thinking here but could there be an Ayala link in there? I'd like to think so..

Would be a good idea, playing Liverpool (even if they play a team of kids) would be a better test and a more worthwhile game than Grimsby. Plus a s tigercity says maybe get a look in at a few of L'pool's youngsters....

Yes i heard that 2. Much better than Grimsby. Plus it will be home (KC) which is much better for us all. NO TRAVEL.

I also expect it part of the Ayala deal. Helps pay the Fee. Worth £20 quid of anyones money.

Maybe the club will do a ticket deal. £30 for both Liverpool and Feyenoord. After all the dutch team are in the country anyway and are playing the game the day b4 they go home on NSF/P+O Ferry. Good value all round.
