I have supported Hull City since 1946,and I have been to clubs with them like Southport, New Brighton, Gateshead, Halifax, Mansfield etc. I and many others never in our wildest dreams did we ever expect to see them in the top flight or at Wembley or least of all in the Cup final and in Europe. Look what they have achieved in the past 6 or 7 years. Now I can go to Arsenal, Man Utd or Man City, Spurs, etc. So I have decided I am not going to complain what ever goes on in the management side of the Club. I am old and Happy. PS. Lets have a trouble free season and hope they succeed for another in the top flight. UTT.
Surrendering your right to complain ( maybe should say giving up ) about anything in the management side of the club because we are successful on the pitch. That bit seems daft to me. I can understand the line " i am old and happy " That could have been filled out with something like, so therefore i am not going to get involved in online squables regarding the off pitch matters. No matter how good we are on the pitch, and credit where credit is due, If the owners, managers, players or staff do something wrong they need to be brought to book. And a final point, what will happen if we get relagated ?
Its probably like our "winter" basically you stop wearing shorts and start wearing pants. Beyond that not much changes.
well if/when i'm 'old' and i live overseas, i certainly wouldn't be protesting about a name change, there's more than enough people here who are willing to, don't see the problem i've been fortunate to be 'young' while city have their most successful ever period, so in 60 years time, city may have exceeded all expectations and won the top flight/european cup/domestic cup or end up in the conference and into liquidation, i'm not sure what my point is like
It gets hotter in winter? Or is winter the wrestling season and folks go about in their wrestling kits?
It doesnt get hotter but there is just little difference between summer and winter here. Elevation matters obviously but the snow line in winter is around 5,000 feet and it rarely snows below 3,000. I live at about 2,400 feet in elevation and it only snowed once last winter and the snow melted in about an hour. The valley temperature is in the 70's and 80's in the dead of "winter"
I am middle aged ish and live overseas, but whatever and wherever, wrong is wrong. I would'nt fly back to join a protest march but i can support the protest in other ways. In my opinion you can't give up the protest because we are succesful on the pitch.
our summers about over now, after the 6 days of sunshine peaking at 24c, it's like an orgy, girls wearing bikinis wandering around the place
