Just found myself pondering over this today... I take a daily commute down Spring Bank, there are a small number of foreign shops that display city's badge. Is this allowed? I find it a tad strange that these businesses display it, while it seems they have no connection to the club apart from they are both in the same city. Any views on this?
The badge is owned by the club, but unless someone is using it for anything inappropriate, or making money out of it, then I'm sure they're happy for it to be used to promote the club and they're unlikely to take any action.
i think it is great to see the club badge on displayaround the City. It is also good to see young people proudly wearing the strip when out and about. Much better than seeing PL team strips and logos. Long may it continue.
I'll be proudly wearing my City shirt for a month in Nebraska then a month in Aracaju Brazil in July/August. Wonder if i'll see any fellow tigers.
I'll be wearing all City stuff during my 10 days of upsetting local drivers while I blast around Artizona in my hired Mustang in April. Raided the club shop on Saturday. Licensing is important to all clubs and breaches cause more harm than good.
