Shows who makes the signings really round Chelsea. Surely it would be wise to await the managerial conclusion and then allow him choice of players he likes?
Seems logical to me as well, but logic isn't used around the Bridge all that often!!. On the other hand, we always seem to do things in secrecy, so I wouldn't be surprised if some sort of decision has been made, as the (alleged) signings DO seem to be the right ones for a change. Then again..............

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but **** you Chelsea, actually **** you! A front line consisting of either Mata, Torres, Sturridge, Marin, Hulk or Hazard is terrifying... Exciting times for you lot next season - enjoy!

Pride comes before a fa...nah **** it, you're right. In my opinion you need another CM to rival Essien, I love the man but he hasn't seemed the same since the injury. Defence wise Cahill has been an awesome signing. Luiz is hilarious but I'm not entirely convinced about his composure yet (plus, as a Toon fan I am contractually obliged to point out that he's just a **** Coloccini). Think you'll be right up there next season, should be some battle between yourselves, City and United...No offence to Arsenal and Tottenham but they're just not at that level. I think it'll be ourselves, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and Everton scrapping it out for the remaining european places and unfortunately I don't see much black and white light at the end of the tunnel, our owner is trying to run us like a sensible business whereas Liverpool spent 75m on Downing, Carrol and Henderson ffs!
Yes--I think you're right about Essien! A great servant but has never been the same since the injury! I think/hope his spot is reserved for Romeu, who is a great young prospect and due for a lot more time on the pitch next year! As for the Spuds, lack of a CL spot will mean the likes of Modric and Bale will want away, and they'll be on a nose dive! Gooners will suffer if they dont spend big on defence, Liverpool experimenting with a new manager(great bloke Brendan, but cant see it working at Liverpool). You might well fare a lot better than you think!
£38m is quite frankly ridiculous, he's worth 20-25 at most. I've no doubt he'll be a good player but you have to look at what Arsenal did in signing Podolski who imo isn't much worse than Hulk for a small chunk of the price. Once again, we've been ripped off.

Well whoever it is seems to be getting it right now. Ramires,Luiz,Cahill,De Bryune,Marin,Mata,Hazard,Hulk,Courtois,Lukaku(?)Piazon,Bamford....not bad.
Can't wait for next season. Excited already. An attacking midfield trio of Hazard, Hulk and Mata is sweet and they'll play behind Fernando Torres. We have Marin as well Chelsea are likely to confirm Hazard and Hulk signings in 24hrs on official club website.
I reckon Abramovich already knows who the manager will be next season and is more than likely being told who that manager wants to sign for the mighty Euoropean Champions
Hulk will be a dissapointment, he aint 10 ft tall and he aint green. Hazard is a greasy little twat, but looks awesome. You lot will take some beating.
Aye I'm interested in seeing how that Cortouis (sp?) does, he'll have a lengthy wait 'till he's No.1 like... My sister's boyfriend went to a stag do with Ross Turnbull and would chat to him a bit, I was dissapointed for him after that last shocking performance but he also got a CL medal so I don't think too many ****s will be given!
I will not be flying home for Chelsea next season, my uncle can have my seat, indeed, I may make 2 trips to somewhere in Tibet or something to avoid any news. You are going to be unplayable, if you get Van der Wiel right back as well, and the correct holding midfielder (Tiote please, weaken the neighbour), hyou will be close to flawless. So much for Roman cutting and running with his CL trophy. Marin is a player I love watching, he is superb on the ball, he and Mata in the same side alone is bad enough, add Hazard (not remotely overrated), Hulk (physical, shot like a cannon with a twin turbo), and Torres (or maybe even Cavani, Lavezzi...), and it's just insanely good. You then have one of the worlds best LB's, Cahill who is superb... ****ing hell.
When Chelsea are interested in any player their worth magically increases by 30%.....IE Modric 40m? My left bollock he’s worth 40m. And they have the front to call RA a gangster...........Levy should wear a ****ing striped jumper and a mask the crooked ****!!
