Incredible as it sounds, Chris Hughton could be the man to get us promoted. All he has to do is beat Watford at home and then go to Middlesbrough and draw. Come on, Chris, you can do it! Hmmm. Or can I steal 'Bah!' General?
Well, if Sheff Weds can squeak a late draw with the 'high-flying', 'free-scoring' media darlings the Cherries, all things are possible. Aren't they Chris?
Not quite all - we still have to win our matches! But it just goes to show how close it still is and that it really isn't over. I'd be surprised if none or even only one of the top thre drops points in the final two matches. So the only real question is can we capitalise on them dropping points and is it the right teams that do it. And all the matches the other top three have to play have points which could be dropped (even Bournemouth v Bolton)
Maybe Mcnally can get on the phone to Hughton and offer him and the players bonuses if they beat both teams, just to give them more incentive.
