As I said, the only cheating yesterday was the handball that could have been given for both Ledley and Wanyama. It got punished. Ki's dive didn't get punished. Niether did Wanyama's. Lennon should take it on the chin and move on.
I'm not 100% sure but what is Lennons crime? Entering the park after a semi final loss is....well...commonplace Having words with an official is....well...commonplace After Ibrox, if I was Lennon, i would want thousands of eye witnesses at my next discussion with a ref Stops lies being told
Here's how managers should act, with "Dignity" at all times.
HarryHood You took the post out of my fingers. Big Tony was too big a gentleman and they walked over him and Celtic. Mr Regan said last season to give him time and he would have it sorted out this season. To be honest until the h.ns went on their death-bed the referees were not too bad on Celtic. It could be argued that they made the odd honest mistake which always went against Celtic but if anything a bit of an improvement on previous years. But ever since Rangers feet went up they turned completely against Celtic. Their message must be Rangers may be down but the referees bias has not gone away. Against Rangers two Celtic players sent off, but not one got a yellow card. CIS cup final definite penalty not awarded when Stokes taken down in box. SFA cup final Referee mistook Victor for ledley (not exactly blood brothers. Black and White issue ref. ball struck Ledley's arm , Ledley head turned other way but Victor facing ball and referee mistakes a white arm for a black. Also Ian Black deserved red card in first half Referee cheated Now the fact that the well known Rangers bigot Dallas who was hunted out of Scottish Football last year condemns Lennon. Shows Neil is right it is personal, but Neil won't be punished because Mr. Regan promised he would have it sorted out this season. When will Neil and Celtic get an apology or are the referees going to continue their bitter hatred towards Celtic for ever.
Rangers fans called referee / sfa / Regan when decisions went against them in meaningless league games against Killie and Hearts , yet Celtic against the same teams got cheated in a semi final and a final , yet we're meant to accept it !!!! After 35 years of watching Celtic its funny how the refs save their best for the big occasion , semi , finals and old firm games that is why Scottish football is corrupt
The decision by Norris for penalty I thought was purely a black or white decision but it now appears Norris didn't see the incident as his view was blocked. Are we going to have a list of referees giving penalties against Celtic, either behind their back or when their view is blocked. Is it true that Norris refereed 3 Rangers matches this season and only gave them 5 penalties. He probably felt he owed the junior side at least one.
Hugh Dallas has zero credibility in my eyes. He has been tarnished by the brush of Sectarianism and we all know he is not a neutral party so we can file his garbage under the bitter section.
i agree. the press were always gonna roll some one out and it might as well be an unemployed **** like him
It shows all that is wrong with Scottish Society that media outlet still allows the worst example of a crude vulgar bigot to air his views in mainstream media. Those who sanctioned and allowed him to give his bias opinion are every bit as bad as the evil Dallas. Dallas has never in his 50 years said anything remotely congratulatory about Celtic, he would be afraid to annoy his Rangers mates.
Celtic quick news is running with the news that Dallas is employed by uefa and is not allowed to Speak out in this instance about Lennon
Harry Rangers fans need not worry. The SFA will study very carefully and come up with a code of words to overcome this difficulty. Remember last season, the game of shame, for my part the biggest shame was how the SFA decided not to punish either of the two Rangers players who man-handled the referee. I believe the SFA got the award last season as the board that accepted the most ridiculous excuse of the century. The excuse was the players had pleading eyes. I wonder what would happen if Neil used that explanation on his visits this year. Bound to work there is a precedent, or is it a Rangers only clause.
And were the calm demenear and quiet (non sweary) and non aggresive words that he claims to have used in the ibrox tunnel the same as he used on the pitch on Sunday? Id suggest Sundays approach could never be defined as quiet and certainly was aggresive in his manner.
So you are suggesting that Neil Lennon is lying? It appears that you are pre judging the case and taking only the word of the Official. Let's see what comes out in the wash tomorrow.
Maybe "claims" was the wrong term to use, "alledges" better placed in a court of law sir? As I understand it NL has not admitted any wrongdoing by storming onto the pitch and "questioning" (in an incredibly aggressive manner) the referees decision. I was trying to show that by doing this in front of that many witnesses it can only harm his defence in reference to his behaviour in the ibrox tunnel, as it sets the precedent for how he reacts to a decision going against his team/his team losing. Yes be upset that the team you support and manage has been beaten, yes be upset at decisions you believe have gone against you (I am of the opinion that the result at the end of the game was fair on the balance of decisions going both for and against you) but there are ways and means to air his views in a letter through his chairman to the SFA and through the celtic PR machine and his statements.
STEVEN CRAVEN wrote a damning four-page resignation letter to Stewart Regan that left the SFA chief executive in a state of shock. The assistant referee claims he has been harassed, bullied and victimised by referees supremo Hugh Dallas and a member of his staff John Fleming. MailSport has obtained a copy of the letter and Craven goes into detail about why he resigned from the SFA last week, a move he felt he had to make for the sake of his sanity. Craven revealed: "I sent Regan a copy of my resignation letter. He asked to meet me and I agreed on the condition it was just me and him. "I went in with an open mind and we spoke for over an hour. "Stewart asked questions and I gave straight answers. He seemed genuinely concerned with what I had to say. "Harassment, victimisation and bullying. That's what went on. Strong words, but I believe they are accurate. "A lot of guys are not happy with it and are ready to walk away. Big-name refs have had enough of the treatment from Dallas. "I've had problems with Hugh and his assistant John Fleming. "One incident I detailed was when Hugh made me wait behind after a seminar so he could have a quiet word. "He said he had heard locker-room chat that I had a problem with him. "I'd given up a day watching my son play football to attend this seminar - and there was Hugh asking me to wait behind like a naughty schoolboy. "At that time I did not have a problem with Hugh and told him so. But incidents have taken place. After a Kilmarnock v Rangers game I spoke to the supervisor and he told me I'd had a great game. "But then when the report came out I was marked down because I was blamed for Kirk Broadfoot being booked. That was not the case. The referee made the decision. "I was also blamed for Stephen McManus not being sent off in a Scottish Cup tie between St Mirren and Celtic. McManus was last man when he fouled Craig Dargo. "I was down-marked for that but did not have a clear view. It was ref Charlie Richmond's call not to send off Stephen. "Also, in March, I was at a Specialist Assistant Referee meeting in Grangemouth. Fleming was in charge. "We had to go through a fitness test but I had been off work and informed Fleming I still felt under the weather. "In front of colleagues he started to shout at me from five yards away. "I was horrified and disgusted at his outburst of verbal abuse. I shook my head in disbelief then he got into an uncontrolled rage. He continued to shout at me. "In my opinion, it was a form of abuse and harassment. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/footba...-dallas-insists-steven-craven-86908-22677857/
