You're right, it was a great finish. These commentators are very pro-blackpool, it was an even game prior to the goal- but they seemed to believe that the lead was deserved. Blackpool are better than I thought they were though, perhaps they can maintain their title tilt afterall... There are quite a few decent strikers floating around the championship, Vaughan has looked very sharp. It's a shame we didn't spend our preseason pursuing players of his ilk, rather than the likes of Gary Hooper.
Paul Ince is turning into a right fat slob.. I still have fond memories of that cup game at Old Trafford and hope we repeat it when he comes to Loftus Road..
Watching the last 15 mins on Bet365 after work, now 1-1, c'mon Terriers! Their keeper, Smithies, always make me think of crisps back in the old days with the little blue paper sac of salt (at least you got to choose whether to use it or not).
How have Huddersfield managed to hold on to Vaughan? I can see him moving for a tasty sum in the Jsnuary transfer window; but where?
So you're surfing the game? Will be pissed if Blackpool nick it. James Vaughan, despite the penalty miss, really manages to get the job done for them (he's on a 3 yr contract now after a previous season loan from Everton).
Final score 1-1, one point certainly better for us than three for Blackpool. John Smith's looks like a nice compact stadium at Huddersfield.
Got a bit fortunate there Blackpool, Huddersfield dominated the 2nd half. Vaughan looked close to tears after the game- shows how much it means to him. We could do worse than stick a January bid in for him
Not much point in thinking about challengers at this stage - just hope all the other games are draws.
We did OK to get a draw at Huddersfield you know! I don't think they will make the top 6, but they are gonna be hard to beat, and take out a few of the top teams imho
We were very unlucky not to win at Huddersfield this season. For the second half we were camped in their half of the pitch.
