1. Greaves, the only positive in the attack in the game until he was switched back to CB. 2. Seri, I thought he was playing too deep today, far too much interaction with the CB’s than anyone up front, he lost the ball a few times, but also kept it a few times too when I thought he was going to lose it! 3. Oscar, got the goal, but he was starved of any service for most of the game. I don’t think Slater & Doc work going forward at home. No idea why they’re further forward than Seri. Subs were decent, Tufan had a few half chances, but he was dropped deeper when Tetteh came on, he made a big impact for me. I think when fully fit, we have to be looking at Tetteh & Oscar as a front 2, or if we stick with the front 3 then they have to be closer than the way we’ve played recently.
Seri played quite a few over the top which were not working. He did that because I think players were not making themselves available. We needed to see some give and goes to break down there lines we did not have the skill to do it.
Oscar for the goal. Ingram for keeping us in it. Christie for giving a ****. The rest need to look at themselves and think about their decisions and that means you too Liam.
Greaves - excellent, although he does get marked down for being part of the defence that was bullied by Huddersfield on a set piece yet again. Bit sick of the men vs boys situation at a set piece every time we play them now. Oscar - just keeps scoring, great finish from an awkward angle and almost had another Ingram - couple of great saves early on.
Oscar. We always have a chance when he plays. Ingram. He kept us in it. Greaves. Dependable at the back. First half was terrible with very little tempo. Second half the subs had a massive impact that includes Coyle and he was still getting some stick.
Oscar Longman Ingram Surprised to see Greaves rated so highly, especially for attacking. Can't recall him overlapping Longman once. Didn't do much wrong but didn't do much further up the pitch either, and we know he can do it. Might have been instructed not to?
I had him as MOTM. You're right he seemed to stay back and not overlap as much as usual, but I thought he was really good out of possession. He was really dominant in a few 50/50s.
