I think the only way SB is going is if he gets the sack & his pay off, I feel that's what he is waiting for, I think he's been waiting for that for a long time, I sometimes wonder if he has done this deliberately, there are those of you who'll say he wouldn't do that as he is a professional, I say to that, if he was professional he would have accepted he wasn't up to the job and would have resigned by now. During the summer it had appeared he had bought a team for success, now it turns out it's a team fit for the championship. I feel for Ellis Short & Niall Quinn, they've both been taken in by SB & they both know what they have to do, they also know it won't be cheap. All I ask is get it over & done with, let's get a quality eyebrow raising replacement & bring back a bit of sanity & hope
To be fair, I wouldnt resign if there was £2m or £3m coming my way. There is no honour amongst footballers or football managers. Just money. It ALWAYS boils down to money in the end.
I disagree, he is a fighter and he probably thinks he can still turn it around, it isn't in his character to leave unless he has zero choice. You don't become United Captain by being a pushover.
