I know that it turned out to make no difference to who eventually won the title, but giving his history and reputation, who the hell decided to have Webb in charge of Man United for this game? It really was beyond belief...

We were always going to lose with a covert Man U supporter as referee

Howard Webb IMO blatantly cheats for Man United. However, the premier league can't acknowledge any hint of this, and cannot factor it into a decision about who should ref each game.

Why?...if it's obvious to the man/woman in the street, the FA should and could stop him refereeing their games..

If they done this Webb would have them in court quicker then he dishes penalties out for fergies boys. He would have it down as his professionalism and integrity being undermined

Peopl say "best ref in England" - He wasn't even the best ref at the Stadium of Light yesterday FFS! How did Phil Jones not get a second yellow for a "professional" foul?? How did Rooney not get booked??

How the hell can Elmohammady go from running in front of a player (and still running), to being behind them and on the floor whilst still running forward? He needs to remember what he last gave a penalty for at the Stadium of Light and have a bit of a think about how much of a foul it needs to be against us - although it probably needs to be a broken bone before we get a penalty

i'm sure that if it went to court there would be plenty of visual documentation to present a very strong case against him!

It is so blatant everyone knows and comments on it, I think I even heard on the radio before the match, Webb usually asks Rooney ,although yesterday it was often Paul Scholes, what decision he should give. Ignoring Jones 2nd dangerous foul as he already had a yellow, or giving a free kick every time a manure player fell over near our box. I have not bothered looking at the slo-mo but I thought we had a couple of decent penalty shouts, for Webb to give us a pen would mean that he would not get his Bonus or he would fall out with Fergie and his Manure mates he could not live with that.
