All the miserable scousers are in a panic over Sterling. City is apparently on standby to snap him up.

And Tiki taka Rodgers is unwisely conducting his negotaitions in the media.

How good is he? If he were playing for United and he was playing the primadonna, we'll tell him to get lost. But then the scousers are so short of anybody good enough, they will probably cave in to his 50K/week demands....<laugh>

He looks talented but who knows how he'll progress. He could be an Aaron Lennon, a Theo Walcott, a Ryan Giggs or a Tony Daley.

he may be a promising talent, but he has not felt the pressure of having to deliver week in week out. People will always give him the benfit of inexperience and youth. when he gets older and he is paid shedloads, then he will have to deliver and the pressure will be much greater. The expectations on him by the scousers are way way over the top and he can never deliver...<ok>

If Sterling doesn't sign a contract we'll just promote Jordan Ibe in his place.

I think he's alright. Can beat a man but needs to work on his decision making and end product.(And that stupid haircut)

Agree Gaz, the decision making and end product usually come with experience, he is good for his age.

I honestly haven't seen anything to convince me he's going to be a real top talent, he has the potential to be a very good pace player, but his passing seems nothing special, his crossing seems average most of the time, his awareness of whats around him is often pretty poor (that does improve with experience but the top class players show signs of that from a very young age), he's very lightweight (he will probably beef up a bit in time but that could also reduce his explosive pace like it did with Agbonlahor when he put on a but of muscle) and apparently his attitude outside of football stinks. To be honest I would prefer to see someone like Will Buckley (or Tom Ince for the left) given a chance in the England team in front of Sterling, he may not be as quick as Sterling but he uses the ball much better and he is physically much stronger.

  9. Clarice Starling is an okay player. Still young and learning her trade, and could be a decent player in 6 or 7 years time. But to demand £50k per week, at the age of 17.. come off it! Rooney was a much better player than Clarice, at 17, and he was only on £20k per week.

I reckon that if Clarice Starling leaves 'Pool, Roy 'Hannibal" Rodgers will eat her liver with some fava beans and a nice cianti. That is my prediction, and you can quote me on that.

The biggest culprit of that ridiculous hairstyle is Ashley Cole as he's old enough to know better, although he is also a thick twat.

I actually think if sterling wants to develop as a player he needs to stay where he is. Getting lots of game time at the moment.

He can always jump ship later

That may be, but he's at the wrong club as he will be overplayed due to a lack of squad depth which will ultimately hinder his development. My opinion of course!
