Started the season relatively slowly by his standards but he's been in great form of late. I think Suarez and probably Aguero are currently the best players in the league but Hazard is certainly in the next bracket along with the likes of Yaya Toure, Oscar, Rooney, RVP and Ozil. certainly got a special player on our hands.
I think Hazard will become the best, if not certainly one of the best players in the world in a few years time. Fear he'll be off to Madrid at some point too.
What about kagawa. Thought he was better than 'project Hazard'? Dithering dave talks of the project a lot now!!
He's immense, but if he works on getting more end product out of his game he'll be on robben, ribery level within the next 2 or so years...by 28 I don't want to jynx it, but he could be the next ronaldo
Slow start to the season but bang in form now he has got the potential to be one of the best in the world and possibly Jimmy Floyds comment could be right
Those Kagawa comments are looking even more laughable than they did at the time, and that's saying something! Just hope he can stay injury free. He's being targeted more and more now much like Robben was when he was with us.
Always tricky to compare strikers and other players as strikers always seem to be the heroes. Hazard has been fantastic, apart from his "tracking back" learning period. With a decent striker on the end of some of his passes he would be even better. Just hope he doesn't burn himself out doing the strikers job as well as his own.
This boy is looking better and better. I have to admit last year i thought he had a good but not fantastic season, providing plenty of jazz but not as much end product as i thought (along with ball hogging, slowing play down). This season though he's been fantastic. Long may it continue!
Just look at the game against Stoke, created the early chance for Eto'o that was unlucky not to creep in. Then he played that brilliant long range floor pass into Eto'o which ended up with Schurrle just getting blocked out by Shawcross. Created the chance that Lampard just could not get on the end of. Played in Oscar when he hit the post. Ran past 3 Stoke players to play the ball into the box with it cannonning off Ramires, then Eto'o missing a sitter, although unbalanced. Thats 5 goal-scoring chances he set up, along with the shimmying run when he cut in and no-one anticipated his through ball. Brilliance, and he is only going to get better.
I've always thought he was brilliant, but I became a little worried with his performance for a while there, I do wonder if Jose would have got rid of him same as he did Mata if he had not been able to adjust to how he wanted him to play.
