    A new background for our forum.. maybe the 2011 German GP to put things up to date for this season, that would be nice.

    The second one was modified out of curiosity..

    You read my mind, ish, kind of.

    I was going to suggest after Hungary that we use the F1 summer break to design a new banner and maybe get a few quizzes and picture games going.

    I really like the first one. It has got almost all the cars in the picture and there are some good battles going on throughout the picture.

    How easy is it to change? Because if it is simple enough we could do something like James Allen does on his website and change it for every race.

    I like that idea, it keeps the site fresh and up to date looking, but if it take a good bit of work every few races is enough to change it.

    Love the top Melbourne pic. Melbourne always suggests the beginning of the season for me. All those possibilities. All that potential. Oh ****, Vettel's going to run away with it.

    Some great ideas here and some super pictures. I know that other sites do regularly change their banners (some for every race or other significant event).

    Remember that banners are predominantly horizontal and that the action in a good candidate picture will need to be edited to a wide and shallow format. Mifune's first picture is a cracking example of exactly what's needed - especially for a 're-starting' of this forum which has such great potential! But of course,     once things are 'underway', there is no reason not to 'zoom-in' on more specific aspects of the action&#8230;

    I like in all these pictures there's a trend. Button just seems to be following Hamilton. Never really noticed it in the races.
