Vic and Bob never were funny.

Are there any good comedies from the last couple of years?

One or two good Irish ones.

Do we mean situation comedies in particular?

Yes. I'm not a big fan of the US comedies apart from Cheers and Frasier. Big Bang Theory for example, I've seen plenty of episodes but can't remember tittering at any point.

I guess there were a few channel 4 ones that the cool kids liked.

Extras was about the last BBC must see one?

    Extras was self indulgent pish.

Not been any good comedies for years. The fact that ****e like Mrs Brown's Boys is on the telly shows you the depth to which homegrown comedy has sunk.

The Revolution Will Not Be Televised was pretty good.

I like the IT Crowd, some of it is pretty funny.

Can't think of anything else right now...

That is excellent but not a sit com.

Very much self indulgent but it was very popular and was pretty good imo. Probably an industry thing just to "get in it" as well.

Allowing the main character to stop being an extra not smart.
