This Weekend Ok lets be brutally honest! were always crap after a break! Robbo was appauling and so was Dunney and Ward! simply aloud Kilkenny and Adamoah (whatever his name is) to play balls through all day long! was annoying to watch! but having said this! bristol wasnt much better pretty much identical stats and we should have had a penalty in the first 2 mins! Dunney needs to be dropped! im sick of his mistakes and we need 3 new defenders a LB a RB and a CB Ward and Robbo are too similar and slow and can only play one of them at a time! Trotter is such a lazy player only performs in bags of space! Howard hasnt put in a good performance really since he has turned up! Bouazza is much better! Feeney is superb! need him on a long contract! bottom line is we wont go down! were too good for that! but we need a smack up the harris quite often!
Agree with most of what you said there Neil, we never got going and was always playing catch-up, we relied too much on Feeney which was the only times we looked kind of threatening. The one thing that did impress me was when N'Gussen came on, he lost possession while on the attack and ran the best part of 50 yards to win the ball back, now if the rest of the side could do that(Dunne especially) we'll be fine.
Worst performance Ive seen for sometime, apparently according to people close to me. Ive been a right moody F***er,
Agree with everything said, the whole defence was appalling for me. Place Smithy back at RB, bring in Barron or place Baker there now. Bring Bouazza back even if he has had a bust up with KJ, he is sorely missed without his pace and flair. McQuoid needs games as he clearly is a top player, Henderson is good but Morison was/is better! Feeney was only good player on the pitch so he must play ahead of Henry for me!
So Bouzza isn't injured? Can't see him getting back in if he's fallen out with the manager. A shame as he's quality. Disagree that Trotter is lazy it's just the way he plays, even game where he puts in a great performance if you watch him he seems to be very casual in his style of play.
If KJ can't motivate them for the Nigels, it's time to shut the Den and go home! This is a great opportunity for some of the bench warmers and to kick others into action. The second goal was a defensive mess and Smithy did well to stop one on the line earlier. Seems like they'd forgotten all the hard work that got us a run of wins. There are good reputations on the line (again!) and if they don't put in a shift that should be goodbye. We are never too good to go down Neil - we are mid table team at best this season but we won't get that by right. We have to fight week-in and week-out for it. City are too good to be in the bottom three and they will pass us soon. More worried by that performance than when Lions were on bad run in September/October.
I have no idea what the bust up was about but for the good of the team i think KJ and Bouazza should heed Sepp Blatter's advice and shake hands and forget all about it.
I think he should switch smith to RB drop Dunney and let Baker in at LB. I think after every game he's played in this season i've had a go at Dunney. He makes so many mistakes its criminal really. Ward/Robbo partnership isnt working at the moment because weve gone from a compact 2 banks of four to a 4-1-2-1-2 and its not working because the back line is too high up the pitch, so every time the ball is lumped forward were found out for pace. Howrd and smith cannot play LB and LM as smithy is right footed and howard is a central midfielder, thats why Adomah had us about all day. Switch Feeney to the left and bring Henry in on the right.
I think its because henrys got a better delivery on the right and sothat liam can cut in and get past a few before having a go on goal on his
