Two home games against mid-table rivals, six points taken, two clean sheets. Could not ask for more. My doubts were groundless.
I agree with all of this. If Cambridge had their shooting boots on today, they could have won it. But we were ruthless and that’s football.
Bounced back from a loss with two straight wins Brilliant on Tuesday, tired today, maximum points and two clean sheets. 3 year deal for Jackson, has to be.
And we have three games coming up that are all very winable. Plymouth, who are in free fall, Wombles and then Gills who have lost 5 in a row. Could be knocking on the door by the New Year
To be fair, I will (now we've won) admit Cambridge played some good football, had some good players and could (and maybe should) have been winning going into the last ten minutes. But they were also niggly, and desperate to play the match against ten men. But while it wasn't like tge Ipswich game the second half was horribly open, and end to end. So good three points and a sigh of relief.
Our midfield just didn't function the way they did against Ipswich. Hopefully after a week without a game they'll be fresh for Saturday, but with games coming up thick and fast over Christmas they won't all be able to play 90 minutes each game.

Great craic in the oak afterwards sandgaard his mrs ,Steve Brown ,Scott Minto ,Tracey Leaburn all there really good night the place was rocking staggered out of there at about midnight happy days
