We need a good performance to get anything out of this game, good home form is paramount if we're to stay in touch with the top 6. Poor away form shows a lack of character in a team, and the character will be tested after a lethargic performance on Tuesday. With Chuks out we can't rely on our subs to change the game, so we need to be on the ball right from the start, and our defencsive problems must be addressed, possibly with Hector being dropped for Ness and the Watsons both returning.

Badly need to show we can compete with a team as good as Bolton.
If we lose, we lose. But let's give them a game.

    No defensive howlers please...

How long until the season is over? …..other than the threat of relegation of course ! Had the feeling Bolton would be too much for us atm , defence still shaky and lacking Chuks as an impact sub and still don’t know our best starting 11 which in an established squad normally picks itself . Hay ho on to Tuesday night away !

YOU CANNOT BUILD A STRONG TEAM WHEN THE MAIN AIM IS TO REDUCE FINANCIAL LOSSES BY A FEW MILLION IN THE SAME SEASON.

Was at a mates wedding today so didn’t go, quite predictable that a decent side brushes us aside easily

The missus invited my brother in law round to watch el Clasdico. He's a great guy buy I was a bit miffed when I realised I was going to have to watch Charlton on the mobile phone, and pretend to be more interested in Real Madrid. But after 20 minutes, I wasbgrateful for the distraction.
Second half looked better than the first, but back to back defeats looks very poor.

So far this season no defender has scored for us, and we haven't scored from a set piece, yet Deji scored the winner from a corner for Bromley on Saturday, his second in two games.

So far we're struggling to get our defenders to defend for us.
Didn't know we hadn't scored once from a free kick though, or a corner.
Doesn't anybody do training for those things?

Our corners are absolutely woeful. There is never any expectation that we could score from one. Fraser is the worst culprit I think.

Terry Taylor took a couple of excellent corners before joining Chuks as Long Term Sick.
