Hi guys, just after a bit of advice. I am a big Liverpool fan but live in the south, so as a consequence do not get to see a lot of games. Went to see the Carling cup game on Wednesday but was sat with the Stoke fans and it was hell, could not really join in celebrations when we scored because we had some pretty tough characters sat near us, had to even pretend to cheer the stoke goal (sorry). Anyway this has made me more determined than ever to get to a few Anfield games! How easy is it to get tickets, and has any one got any good advice on how to obtain a ticket. Thanks guys
Welcome to the forum! Tickets are available at the Official Liverpool FC site. I think we'll forgive you for celebrating the Stoke goal.. For now...
Through the Liverpoolfc.tv website Get a membership and go through there. Very tough to get of tickets if you don't book a few months ahead. I tried to get hold tickets for my nephew for an early Christmas present and couldn't realy get squat. - Welcome to the site also!
Corrected. (We're celebrating 100 pages of the Anfield Arms Pub Thread, looks like bow4fowler's had too much, starting to slur his words..)
Hope you enjoyed the game! (Even if you were sat with the Stoke fans.) I think you need a membership to get tickets. They are £30 and it gets you priority for our home games. Here is a link: http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/membership/benefits/benefits
Put my hands above my head and jumped up and down, one of the stoke fans put his arm around me and was saying yes mate, yes mate, get in there. Very strange experience indeed!
One more quick question, if i buy the membership, will I be able to buy more than one ticket, need one for the missus too....
Yea really quite an intimadating place, constantly on the refs back, booing every time Liverpool fans sung or Suarez touched the ball, and they all made a silly whoosh sound every time they took a throw. Sat near lots of guys who looked liked they would kill us if we dared reveal our true allaiance. Sort of made it hard to relax and enjoy the game...
Join the nearest official Liverpool supporters club branch to where you live, they probably run buses to a few home games a season and they get match tickets also.
Whilst we are talking about tickets... Does anyone find the way the club deals out tickets to away games slighty unfair? I fully agree with giving people who go to many away games priority to most of the tickets but how about giving a percentage of the tickets to members who haven't been to as many away games as the others? It would let other members who can't get to many away games go to away games.
You can easily but tickets for Cat C games Bolton, Blackburn for example just go on the website and buy, no membership needed.
1. If you wanna get tickets you will need a membership, nigh on impossible to get tickets without 2. If you want tickets for 2 people its TWO memberships. 3 Tickets are going on sale for the 2nd half of the season home games on week commencing Nov 7th.Once you get membership you can link your memberships together and buy tickets. You will have next to no chance of gettin a ticket for say the Everton home game,as you need to have been to so many games LAST saeson to qualfy. Most other games you should be able to get tickets for if you are persistant on either the phone or the net.because when tickets go on sale its f**kin busy
Cat B and C games are fairly easy to get off the website if you are a member, they are usually p for sale and available for a few days before being sold out. Just keep checking the site for ticket updates on the ticket page.
