How will our stewards handle the pyro the french ultras and the over enthusiastic following they will have ?
Speak for yourself. First home game of the season- diary date for loyal supporters. Shame it wasn't away easily doable by train from Zeebrugge.
Simply an observation based on the empty seats when we played Newcastle last Summer, and in general terms home crowds have significantly reduced further since then.
Dunno who he is speaking for.. BREAKING: Pre season friendlies are rarely well-attended, unless we are playing LFC etc then suddenly we get an invasion of short-lived pond life
When I say "He's hardly speaking for himself", I'm talking about the thousands that have already stopped attending, even League games. He's obviously speaking for them also. We didn't only get good crowds for the Premier League games. We had them in League 2.
Depends how far you want to go back. Fickle city for sport, over the decades until summer RL you could watch live team sport every weekend, and plenty went with the winning team. This seems a part of some people's DNA round here. It's like some people need an excuse not to attend. V Amiens, it will be cheap to get in, no membership needed, no reason for our many high-minded virtue signalling fans not to attend, as it's not a meaningful game as such. Love Island can be recorded and the LFC Far East Tour match also and watched on catch up. No need for people to miss out on their favourite TV stuff. See you at the KCOM folks
Quote 'pre-season friendlies are rarely well attended'..... just answered your own observation Enjoy the match!
