If true i really do feel sorry for him. One of football's characters. Hope he gets another job soon as the game really does need him.

Palace job is tailor-made for Pulis. Mowbray might be an option with Warnock going back there too big a slice of humble pie for Parish to swallow (or is it?).

The palace board didn't sack him, Steve Parish has said he was happy to be relegated with holloway and try and come back stronger, basically like the baggies.

I think holloway is on the edge of some sort of mental breakdown. He's blaming everyone except himself and looks a shadow of the man that nearly kept Blackpool up in such swashbuckling style.

I like Holloway but he openly admits copying Swansea and in particular, Martinez in his style of play. Just like Martinez his teams can't defend. Only now, with a decent back line in his team, is Martinez getting it right - at least in part - and it's been a long road. Holloway isn't nealy good enough at this level yet, as likeable as he may be.

Like many players, some managers reach a ceiling. Holloway has got teams to overacheive on two occassions to get promotion, both of which have failed in the PL (though there was a way to go this time round).

I'm sure he could make a very good living getting teams promoted and moving on.

You can't not like the bloke though. Entertaining in front of the cameras and necesary in the modern game, a bit like Warnock.

frank, werent you advocating our manager leaving for them?

he seems to admit he's not up to the task which is rare in todays game....... they will probably take up one of the relegation spots, if they get pulis who knows he may get them getting results, but it will be a hell of a task for him having to do this from the position they are currently in.....<ok>
