As others have said, we all have our favorites to take over and personally, I like the sound of McInnes BUT

whoever it is will most likely have to make the most of the existing squad and maybe a few loanees. Why... 4 words gentlemen

    Financial Fair Play Rules....

This rule will totally dominant our spending policy, specifically the size of the loss we can make compared to our turnover.

From this point of view, I saw several comments on here a while back saying that we have a large number of players out of contract at the end of this year which may well help but I can see what Keith did by bringing in replacements for the future such as young Taylor and Bolaise so unlike most, I don't give him stick for that.

Nevertheless, it is a fact that the new manager will have to work with the players that we have (a massive squad).

Now that isn't necessarily a bad thing because we KNOW that this team is capable of MUCH BETTER but it is a fact that the new man must be a man manager of the highest order to get the best out of it which is why I would be happy with McInnes

What I'm hoping prem a man with great experience will come in,find that some members of our squad are real diamonds just wanting and waiting to play to a different scenario and structure, the system is changed and works, they are all motivated by a man who has been there and has got bigger balls than them, their faith and belief is restored and the necessary holes are filled but the fact the guy has got the contacts will do it...

Our squad is good enough for a top 10 finish,Millen is now gone, and good luck to him but a new guy can and will improve our play, approach, style and results....

The pressure is on to appoint an established name but that is no guarantee.

I want the board to be brave, do something like Norwich. Got whacked 7-1 in their first game in League 1, saw what Lambert had done at Colchester so sacked their manager and put him in charge and the rest, as they say, is history...

In fact, I volunteer myself to do the interviewing at AG - there is something about born leaders that you can usually spot pretty much instantly, my new MD is one.

Some of the young candidates, Tisdale for example, do well because they have a good bunch that trust them and will follow - I know this from my days as a team leader, my team all knew their jobs and were happy to work for/with me and all newbies quickly bought into the ethic of a happy working atmosphere. Trouble is that this doesn't always translate to a new environment.

You can sense leaders, they have an aura about them - they are good man managers and there is something that makes people want to follow them

I really don't care who this is but this is what we need. Paul Hartley seems to have started his career well...
