.. it's started .... comments that the 'doddery old fool' has finally flipped ... don't think I helped by agreeing that there were indeed signs of that ... after all he'd started 4 Spuds in an England game recently ... not sure that helped ... they are becoming quite inhospitable ... hopefully their players will also start to melt with a bit of pressure
I've made my initial thoughts regarding the dive quite clear (although the more I see it the more I think that it was neither a pen or a dive). However what the Spurs fans seem to think is that nobody can have a different opinion to them and anyone who does gets slaughtered. They are such a biased/blinkered lot
I believe it was both a penalty and a dive . Only thing is if a penalty is called , the dive is a non event . The defender grabbing and attempting to pull back a player in the box will always be a foul in my book . I know we differ on what happened and that's what opinions are all about . Proper call if you don't call a penalty ........ Don't call a dive , especially after a dodgy first yellow card , and let the game play itself out .
