No idea why, he is just a coach after all ... he claims that for him the great thing about the Continental "Director of Football" system is that it means Hock don't have to negotiate squat cos he don't know squat about negotiating, his words not mine ... funny how he didn't tell the Chairman at Forest Green Rovers this skills gap when he was handed the largest budget in the Conference (and probably a larger budget than two thirds of Lge Two)

The other great thing about not having to get involved in transfers is that, according to him, it gives Hock extra time to prepare his players and his tactics for match days ... hmmm, well clearly he needs even MORE time than he has following our pre-season showing and the Millwall disaster ... I think the team will play better if they spend a week "training" at Flamingo Land, that's how wrong Hock got it last week

So all Hock does is recommend players he wants, and they'll only be one's playing on this island because these are the players he "knows well" ... sorry Hock, I respectfully disagree with you, because you clearly don't know Matt Smith or Noel Hunt, you have no idea about Aidy White, and so on and so on ... its obvious that Ajose and Ranger are Hock recommendations via his vast network of genius footballing contacts that clearly only extend to the perimeter of the Liddington training ground

Oh well, he will probably never learn, first telling the President that Ross should go when Cellino wanted him to stay - "I told him to shut up because he knows fcuk all" ... and now publicly "advising" Byram that moving to a Prem club is not good for his career when the President is going to cash in big time on a lad with serious fitness doubts, this following an unusual hip injury that seems to be there under the surface, waiting to put him out of action for a long period again ... oh well, I guess Hock doesn't yet understand Cellino, or the fact that the Byram money will probably be just the ticket to fill the suitcase Cellino hands over to some bloke wearing dark glasses at a rendevous on a yacht off the coast of Guyana in return for the deed to Elland Road

In Hock We Tru - erm ..... well, whatever

Oh, and is it just me who can't get used to reading "the former Forest Green Rovers boss" in articles about the man expected to lead Leeds United upwards?

Morning Billy. Let's give Viscount Hock of Beeston a bit of time. You never know where we'll end up or what he can achieve.

Time and tide wait for no man.

The hock is chained to the beach and high tide is about 10pm tonight. Can he wriggle free against the mighty Stanley from accrington?

    Oh the suspense.

Tonights game is irrelevant for some. Anything other than a big win and Hock and Cellino will get a barracking. Win 7-0 and the opposite will be deemed useless and it'll be back to last Saturdays highlights again <doh>

lol Boggers, Viscount of Beeston ... Eire you probably spot on mate, thing is no matter what colour you paint it the Hock was a reckless appointment by Cellino along with allowing Junior onto the senior coaching staff ... the single most damning thing against Hock is that he is a nobody who failed miserably at Conference level and in our heart of hearts we all know he shouldn't be anywhere near Leeds United ... add to this his work thus far and it doesn't look good ... guaranteed that if McD had been retained and taken us through Hock's pre-season and Millwall rubbish, every single person on here would be demanding his head right now ... its not that Hock has only had one competitive game in charge that's the issue, it's the fact that he ain't gonna suddenly evolve into a quality manager and we know it

Would be demanding McDs head because he would be well into his second year in job unlike the Hock who has 90 competitive minutes under his belt. For the record, I dont believe he will work out but the hysteria is a little premature <ok>
