Just settling down to watch the Dundee United game, listened to Hock's pre-match interview ... he says, very strongly, that Tom Lees was the only player to be offloaded as it was a "special case", and it now allows him to go out and strengthen "in that area" ... rest of the squad he says is staying, and his only transfer focus now is to add to the "small squad" he has left ... so the dross will stay, but I really can't see Kenny featuring unless he does something amazing ... I can only think that nobody wants our rubbish which is why they remain, eating up wages and blocking a couple of quality players coming in ... interesting indeed, and he still talks up players like Hunt so we'll see, hopefully things change but Hock happy to keep what he's got
Hockawally does have a fair point on the squad size I count 20 1st team players and that counting Poleon and Taylor. We need to sign around 5 or 6 players by the end of month. As for Norris, he's only got a year left on his contract and worth £100k, I don't think people will go for him they'll wait for contract to run down and it's a waste of money to pay him off in my opinion
If we continue to play this style of footy, even Norris might do okay. But agree that the kids coming through & a few decent Italians will mean Norris will be on his way before the end of the season
Got to say the sooner Hunt goes the better he was useless today and his pass to there attackers was sublime for them really rated Bianchi and besario goalkeeper needs lessons in comnuications
Maybe loan him out in January. Get out of the squad give him game time. Then come the summer he won't be a problem
