From a Swans fan in peace.

I sincerely hope and pray that the families who have lost loved ones and the many liverpool fans who lost friends in the Hillsborough tragedy. Get the answers that they have waited many years for when they release the official documents from the inquiry tomorrow.

As a fellow football fan the images unfolding on the TV that afternoon will live with me for ever.

    Cheers

    Mabon

PattyChipsNscraps comment is just typical of people who don't know what happened. I always find it is best to keep quiet if you do not know what you are talking about.

Cheers Mabon nice touch, just watched the documentory from last night, shed many tears. ****ing awful what happenend. The people from the Sun should have had there balls cut off for what they printed, but maybe they got fed a load of propaganda from the Yorkshire police, who by the looks off things tried very hard to put the blame on anyone but themselves.

The LFC fans tried to help by pulling people into the upper stand, and they where running around getting strechers. They told the police what was going on, and got told to **** off, the polic though the people jumping the fence where starting a pitch invasion.

The parents who lost daughters and sons will not get there children back, but will sleep a touch easier once the truth comes out. God only knows how they feel. Fans who suggest we are playimg victims are off there rocker big time, the club handled it brilliantly, opening Anfiled and Kenny attending the funerals etc.

God bless the 96 and there families.

Yes i watched that documentary as well brought back a lot of sad memories from that time. The truth will come out and justice will be had for the families ,liverpool fans who sadly lost their lives on that tragic afternoon. Yorkshire police have a lot to answer for and over time the people of liverpool will have their day .

At the very least a public apology should be given to the people of liverpool and the fans of liverpool football club for the actions of the police on that day.

I won't acknowledge the comments of Patty on this thread because that would be disrespectful to those that lost their lives on that day

Yes the police made mistakes, but are human, I do not think anyone would like to see them hang, but a simple appology would have gone a long way. There was a couple who lost both there daughters, the questioning began with have you been drinking? The police ****ed up and there first instinct was not regret and sorrow, but self-preservation, and an attempt to cover up there errors.

I think that if the police had accepted they made mistakes instead of trying to put the blame on innocent liverpool fans, the families would have found it easier to accept, its the lies that Yorkshire police and the press especially the sun newspaper peddled about the actions of liverpool fans on that day that has upset the country not only the people of liverpool. And those lies need to be corrected for the sake of the families, liverpool fans and especially for those fans that lost their lives as a mark of respect.
