His volley for the first goal was sublime!!! Robert Lewandowski has scored more goals in nine minutes than Liverpool have in 6 games. There have been Canaries fans almost in 'meltdown' because we didn't sign a striker and yet we are 4th equal with the likes of ManUre and Chelski in the 'goals for' column.in the PL and had Jerome's goal not been disallowed, we'd be in 4th place on our own!!!! One of our successes from last season was the fact that we had 3 or 4 midfield players who scored more than 10 goals each and I see no reason why that should change significantly this season, though I doubt that many will get into double figures.
.......so it will change then! Seriously, you make a good point and the beauty is that we are not leaking badly at the other end, so we are putting pressure on other teams to score. It is overall an encouraging start to the season.
Not a great week for the city of Wolfsburg given that it is the home of VW. Could be a few hacked off locals, particularly if they are participants in the VW share save scheme!
