By verifiable, we'd need proof that it isn't some ****e he's knocked up on he computer or bought from some dodgy Internet site.
You've never seen a Cambridge degree, so how would you know that the one I photograph is the genuine article? Also, how would you know that the degree (and other certificates) I photograph and post are actually mine, and not borrowed from someone I know?
You're making assumptions about whether I have seen a Cambridge degree certificate. As I say the incubence on proof is yours to provide. You are the one making the claims here.
At the risk of repeating myself... what proof will you, without any attempt to weedle out of it, accept? If I post a certificate with my name blanked out, confirm, here and now, that you will accept that as proof.
I'm not the one doing any 'weedling', that's your department. As you say you could easily print off any old ****e and pass it off as proof, but try me anyway, you never know. But do not forget, it is incumbent on you to convince me. I'm not making any claims here, you are.
You're getting confused, PISKIE! You've called me on having a Cambridge degree, and I've upped the ante by asking you to put everything you own on it. You've given it large by doing just that, but you are wheedling your way out of making good on the bet by throwing spanners in the works. You owe me everything you own, that much will become apparent. All we have to sort out, now, are the mechanics of (a) proof, and (b) the transfer of ownership of your worldly goods to me. All of which can be achieved, if you are willing to work with me on it. Over to you, mate.
Not so, it is incumbent on you to provide proof of your Cambridge degree. I will decide whether that proof is sufficient. I'm not sure you want my old sock collection, but you're welcome to it either way.
HIAG thinks he's being clever, stretching this thread out, but each comment and page just expands his embarrassment.
In a way, I envy you lads, that you are able to watch a Master Wumster at work! I'd love to be able to look at what I do, in the same way as you lads can. However, when I am at work, I am caught up in the zone, and cannot fully comprehend just how good I am. It is one of the burdens that I am feted to carry.
You can keep that. However, I am interested in your Blue Peter annuals, stamp collection, marble collection, and bicycle.
Well aware of the history mate. It's like two Jack Russells fighting over a bit of old rope, neither one willing to let go.
I'm beginning to think that it's in HIAG's interest to convince us that he doesn't have a Cambridge degree. I mean can you imagine the embarrassment of his ****-witted form on this forum if he was actually a graduate from one of the UK's top universities ?
