Maybe Hayes from Dover? No I'm only joking. I do believe we need a strong number 2, some one to not only help Hessy but to offer an alternative view on things. I think Mark stimson would be a better number 2 than manager (this is by no means a suggestion as to who I think should be Hessy's assistant.) he had a good eye for a player, I do believe he brought some very talented players to the club, we generally played good football under him and he was very much about fitness. 3 things that I think would aid us very well. who it should be I have no idea as to the potential assistant managers that are out there. May be Liam Daish from Ebsfleet? Just like to reiterate I am not suggesting Stimson as assistant!
I would love to see Stimson as number 2!!! I agree that he would be a better number 2 than manager, he is a good tactic's and signing's kind of guy but is terrible with the fan's and man management. Hess on the other hand is terrific with the fan's and man management! Granted they would be like a medway version of the odd couple but I think they could both do really well together.
Stimson was so good with tactics that we didn't win a single away fan, i'm sorry but away from home he was clueless. tried to get us to pass teams like southampton off the pitch. Was never going to work and stubbornly never changed it.
We need someone with good league connections, someone who has been around the leagues for a few years, as I think Hessy lacks these connections currently. But unfortunately I haven't got a name to fit that bill that we can afford or that would want to be a no. 2
To be honest we can throw around name's all we want but it's obvious trigger or someone idetical to Hendon will get the job.
