I suppose that it could be the valuation. I read somewhere that we valued him at £8million and if the player didn't want to go to Sunderland that could be used as an excuse. However, until we actually sign another forward we may want to hold on to N'gog until the deal goes through. Given that Utd are paying around the same fee then £16 million for Henderson seems a good cash deal.
