The partnership of Zamora and Cisse is the one thing I'm pinning any kind of survival hope on - though it's too little too late. I honestly think we would be a fair few points better off had Cisse not seen red against Wolves. They looked very good together in that match and did again yesterday.
Seconded. I wasn't overly excited by the Zamora signing, but the more I see of him the more I appreciate that he is a proper CF - strong, intelligent, brave, with no little skill.
I agree with some of the senitments here, but my point was not about "giving zamora stick". It was just a simple point that imo Helguson does a better job of getting the headers and keeping them to his body rather than it bouncing off of Zamora. But I do accept that Zamora is better at other play (such as that shot which hit the bar). Its a case of do we want HH to bring the long balls down, or Zamora who is better with his feet?
Cisse will want to show Liverpool a thing or two. Must play and Zamora is our only other option as partner considering HH and DJ are injured still. They do seem to be the only ones with any finesse.
