DM, your post captures my own feelings perfectly. Norwich seemed to have nothing to give today. Maybe that is Hughton's fault or maybe it is because they have been through the storm that you describe. A trip to the Etihad isn't exactly the place to build confidence, and that first early goal shattered what little they had. My problem with blaming Hughton is that I don't think he has done much wrong. He has bought well in the summer, everyone has agreed he has brought defensive solidity, that we are playing better and seeing progress and yet still the results have not come. He has done a lot of the things that people have wanted. Today we can tick two more off the list. We got to see a Norwich team without Snodgrass, and Josh Murphy played. I can only hope that this signals the end of the storm. I think the recent fixture list has taken a huge toll and he deserves a chance to recover from it.
