Two people have appeared in court on terrorism charges over videos relating to the killing of soldier Lee Rigby. Royal Barnes, 22, and Rebekah Dawson, 21, both of Hackney, east London, attended the Old Bailey for a preliminary hearing. Mr Barnes is accused of disseminating terrorist publications, inciting terrorism and encouraging terrorism. Ms Dawson is charged with disseminating terrorist publications and encouraging terrorism. Mr Barnes' charge of disseminating terrorist publications relates to seven videos, while the encouragement of terrorism charge relates to two videos. Ms Dawson's charges each relate to two videos. Mr Barnes was remanded in custody and Ms Dawson was bailed ahead of a plea and case management hearing on 22 November. Fusilier Rigby, 25, was stabbed to death on 22 May near his barracks in Woolwich, south-east London. Two men - Michael Adebolajo, 28, and Michael Adebowale, 22 - have been charged with his murder. Have these poor sods been charged and remanded for recording the lopping off of the head and posting it on the web? Is said recording still doing the rounds? What a crock of ****e.
