Anyone who thinks there isn't a disparity between the reporting of events at football and rugby is either naive, stupid or both.
The same type of person who feels the need to point out which egg chasing team they support using their username on a football forum
I don't deny there's a disparity, I just think its futile and petty emailing them when it won't change anything.
Because no-one else does that? See above post, I don't dispute the disparity, I just think its a bit pointless getting wound up about it.
I just don't see the point in telling us which egg chasing team you support when its a crap minority sport that no one is bothered about!
I don't anyone's interested in your political leanings from your avatar or that you aspire to owning a suit and some boots either. Neither of which are Mighty Tigers related. People in glass houses...
How's it any different to people telling us where they live, their musical tastes or their political views in their user name or avatar? All those are pointless and irrelevant to a football board as well.
I'm surprised this HDM article hasn't been flagged up: http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...-bills-means/story-19987314-detail/story.html Talks about how the attendance at Hull Fair was down (I went for a walk around one night and it was the first time I have ever been able to walk down Walton Street instead of at a stop/start pace due to crowds), Then says how people are struggling to pay to go see the rugby, with no Rugby League World Cup games having 'sold out' - but gets a positive quote to balance it out saying the games will get strong "walk up" attendees. Then goes on to add: "Hull City's return to the Premier League has also failed to see sell-out matches at the KC Stadium this season. Although recent home clashes against Aston Villa and West Ham have come close to selling out, fans have stayed away from less glamorous Capital One Cup matches. Only 7,151 supporters paid to watch last month's cup-tie with Huddersfield".
That paragraph about City is ridiculous. All the league games have been near sell-outs and the cup ones are poorly attended all over the country. Sadly most fans are just too good for League Cup games. I think that's a stupid attitude personally but the way they've written that makes it sound like Hull City have particularly low attendances compared to other teams.
