Hatem just got a lovely hat trick in France. On his day an unstoppable force. Mick Quinn has been slagging Pardew a bit for sacking him off but for me, HBA must gave been going through a tough spell and maybe just needed some TLC? An odd one.. But enjoy these goals.
Whichever side of the divide you sit on with HBA, no one can deny he wouldn't bring something to this team that is sadly lacking.
Genuinely world class player, probably not a world class attitude. Privileged to see him play in black and white. What a team we had, Cabaye, Ba, Ben Arfa, Tiote at his best. Unbelievable Jeff. Fast forward the clock... That's Colback, Riviere, Saivet and Tiote pulling along 500 tractors... Jesus H Christ.
Great player on his day and when his head is right. Useless when he gets as fat as Mick Quinn and acts unprofessionally. Club and manager 100% right with him. Shame as when he was right, he was a top player. However there is reason when you are 29 yr old and have the talent he does, you end up playing for Nice. He has carried them up the table which is great for them. There is tendency from our fans to sugar coat the situ. This lad has ****ed up at Lyon, Marseille, Newcastle and Hull. He found himself unwanted by any club bar Nice. Hopefully the penny has dropped, but to be honest its even more of a kick in the teeth for us that he had so little respect for the club he couldn't be arsed do it here. Nowt to do with TLC or any manager here for me, he was just a ****. Mick Quinn is a horrible fat cretin. However I will leave his rinsing to BRS who I know has a soft spot for him.
Probably about the right level for Sissoko too. I think we are seeing exactly why none of the big clubs in France or Europe wanted him, and why we picked him up for buttons. Players from abroad don't come to Newcastle for any other reason than to use as a stepping stone or because no one else wants them. Its ****ing freezing most of the year for a start
People have very short memories. HBA was fat and not trying. I wasn't inside the club at the time so cannot say for sure why, but he stopped trying. Possibly Pardew but he (HBA) seems happier back on home turf. The irony of Mick Quinn commenting on fitness issues is not lost on me - great natural goalscorer - but equally a pint-swilling, pie-eating scouser with a pot-belly
A large number of our current squad are NOT fat AND not trying so I fail to see the pattern! Give me a fat not trying HBA over and above a not fat and not trying Colback or Anita any day of the week
