Really, really, really, really! Want him to get back to his best and light up the premier league this season, he might even get his chance to start if Marveaux and Obertan are still out for the Citeh game. Lets just hope De Jong doesn't get anywhere near him this time :emoticon-0106-cryin

How do we all rate him so far from his cameos from the bench?

Not much to go off but I think hes showed some moments of class but seems to want to do everything himself, I think once Pardew drills the right attitude into him and he gets his match sharpness back he will be back to what he was.

    Heres hoping!

Hopefully he'll start against Man City so he can exact some 'revenge'.

Think he ghosted past jagielka late on in the game and jagielka made a last ditch tackle to stop him. More game time and i think he'd have got away from jagielka there. He did well on sat and worked hard for the team. Won some good free kicks

He did look decent when he came on against Everton but still seems to give the ball away cheaply, which is definitely not what we're about this season, lets hope its only temporary.

Wouldn't it be amazing if he banged in the winner in an unexpected victory against them! A boy can dream I suppose.

I think it'll take time. All the other lads have clicked together well, since they've all played about 10/11 games together, but Ben Arfa just needs to get used to it. A match situation is a lot different to the training ground. I think he'll slowly work his way into the team, and will probably be starting by the new year.

I'm hoping he can adapt to playing a more wide position to be honest, because I think Best and Ba is an effective partnership and I wouldn't be looking to break that up unless one of them has a huge dip in form.

4-4-2 has worked a treat this season, changing the system too much to accomodate Hatem could spoil things.

He'll need a few 90min games in a row before we start seeing the real HBA again

He was much better against Everton, all but one of his passes went to a team mate and he just kept the ball, drawing fouls to run down the clock.

What better way to get a few 90mins than against 3 of the best 4 teams in the Premier League - Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea

True, he'll certainly unnerve a few defences with his pace and trickery!

If he does then i think he'd be used behind a striker and play on the counter

I think thats what we need in our next game. If we play with 2 up front we will get over run imo
