    When I was alerted to the fact that Ben Arfa had spent his Saturday off by deciding to watch Gateshead's 2-2 draw with Rushden & Diamonds to take in a Blue Square Premier game, it was obvious that he is deadly serious when it comes to understanding just what the Geordie public are all about.

    I love this guy, this sort of stuff and his attitude is what we expected of people like Owen, and got nothing of the sort.

    Brilliant that mate, let's hope he doesn't have his head turned by the glamour and bling of London and keeps true to his roots. Seems like a sound lad, spent alot of time with family during rehab too, his grandparents in Tunisia.

    It would be great for things to work out. Without sounding biased, most of the people he's fell out with are complete ****ers anyway ie; Diaby (****er), Benzema (****er), and Deschamps (Massive ****er).
