Different on my screen but I edited mine, so maybe it got a new time. I'd forgotten it anyway, I'd already moved on.

    Luton Town statement:
We would like to place on record that the Premier League club have approached the board in the correct manner, for which we are grateful, and that the whole situation is extremely amicable with Southampton and with Nathan," said the Hatters, who are eighth in the Championship table.

"We would also like to urge all supporters travelling to Stoke to show him and the team your support on what we hope will be yet another memorable away day."

I've seen a few people call Hassenhutl "rabbit hutch". Anyone know what that's about?

    • Rabbit hutch
Huttl, complete with umlaut, is indeed the diminutive of 'Hutte', which means hut or cabin, and is often used for Alpine chalets. The name 'Hasenhuttl', then, is more likely to conjure up images of a skiing hare than a domestic rabbit. Hasenhuttl, whose name loosely translates as 'rabbit hutch'

    Crazy days

Hasenhüttl was the fourth-longest serving manager in the division and last year became Southampton’s longest-serving manager since Chris Nicholl in 1991, no mean feats by modern standards

Jones agreed terms to become Southampton manager, think they may regret that.

Southampton have confirmed the appointment of Nathan Jones as their new manager following the sacking of Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Welshman Jones, 49, has left Championship side Luton Town to take up the role and has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract.

Hasenhuttl, who was in charge for nearly four years, was sacked on Monday after Sunday's 4-1 defeat by Newcastle.

"I'm really proud to be given this opportunity," said Jones.

"I know a lot about the club from back in the days of The Dell, to coming here to St Mary's, and it's a wonderful football club."

Luton are expected to name ex-Watford boss Rob Edwards as their new manager, reports BBC Three Counties Radio.

The 39-year-old was appointed by Championship rivals Watford in May after guiding Forest Green to promotion from League Two last season.

But he was sacked on 26 September after just 11 games in charge, winning three.

Luton's previous manager Nathan Jones left Kenilworth Road last week after being appointed by struggling Premier League side Southampton.

Following a playing career that began at Aston Villa and included spells at Wolves, Blackpool and Barnsley, Edwards retired at the age of 30.
