Has nigel finally solved how to win away from home? I think earlier on in the season we tried to play only one way and when teams pressed us it didnt work and we lost but now we are content to play more direct if needs be as we have the players to do so. Once you do that you can create abit of space and that allows us to play the way we want, I'm hopefull that now we'll be able to pick up some more points on the road.

Still too early to tell. I think if we come away with a similar result away to Leeds next weekend, then we might be able to answer that question with a yes.

Yes. A number of us were saying that he needed to be less predictable as he was sticking to his preferred style in a quite inflexible way and as a consequence teams new how to play us.

Now they don't know what to expect.

Well done Nigel is all I can say.

Remember Nigel is learning his trade as well. It's in our own hands and winning games is all that matters now.

I'm hoping it's going to be parallels to last season. We all remember Poyets disingenuous comments comparing us to Dagenham but with Lambert and Barnard.

If teams come to pack the midfield and press us then Plan B is very much in place in behind sides and jumping on that 2nd ball. It worked yesterday, against Burnley and the 2nd half against Cardiff

I like the way he has always tried different things; they don't always work. Yesterday they did.

One of the Watford fans on this board yesterday said both teams played hoofball and the only difference was that we played hoofball better. If this was in fact the case then I would take more 3-0 wins away from home playing like that!

I thought we only played like that because the pitch was crap.

We played the conditions...get the ball into their end and use our superior skill to win. Just looked at match on player...nice running from Tadanari leading to the penalty. Signalled where he wanted the ball and kept going. Like the look of him..has good understanding with Lambert.

When we have tried to play expansive passing football from the back away from home, we have found that the other teams pressure and hassle us to the point that we misplace several passes, some of which are capitalized upon by our opponents.

Perhaps Nige is trying a new style in order to sidestep the opponents' pressure.

Nigel's learning fast. It also doesn't hurt him in the slightest that he has easily the best striker in the Championship; the best attacking midfielder; one of the very best distributors of the ball, and two of the best CBs going, outside the Premier League, as well. Not only do the team have intelligence in their feet, but they also have it upstairs, in spades too.

Don't get me wrong,Fonte and Hooiveld are good defenders, but not the best in the league.
Abdoulaye Diagne-Faye is an absolute beast,Mark Hudson is another good defender,Winston Reid aswell.

Actually, I meant best CBs as a pairing, but I just didn't make myself clear.

How do you think about that..?
